I am both honored and excited to introduce myself as the proud Principal of Veterans Elementary School! It’s a privilege to join you as a partner in our
mission to support the success of our students. At Veterans, we proudly embrace the spirit of the Heroes, and we are dedicated to creating an environment where every student can excel.
Our vision is for Veterans Elementary to be a place where students demonstrate strong character, explore their creativity, become enthusiastic learners, and develop confidence and self-awareness. We aim to foster a culture of unity, creativity, collaboration, and innovation, where every student feels included and motivated to learn. We look forward to welcoming each of you as active members of our school community. Together, we will work to build a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where parents and staff collaborate to provide exceptional educational experiences for all children. My hope for this school year is that we can join forces to prepare our students to be well-rounded, diligent, and compassionate individuals ready to face the challenges of the 21st century.
As we embark on this new school year, we are excited to see the incredible things our Heroes will achieve, and we are eager to support them every step of the way. Research shows that student success flourishes with strong family support, and we are committed to enhancing parent involvement here at Veterans. We warmly invite you to get involved by:
- Volunteering in various school activities and events.
- Joining our School Site Council (SSC) to contribute to decisions about school policies and budgets that affect student learning.
- Participating in our English Language Advisory Council (ELAC) to help shape our support for English Language learners and gain strategies to assist your child’s success.
- Becoming a member of our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) to assist with planning school-wide events and supporting fundraising efforts.
Alongside our dedicated Associate Principal, Elizabeth Diaz-Tucker, and our exceptional staff, I am eager to meet you and embark on the exciting journey of this new school year together!
